Today is one of the biggest days for Democrats in the election season as the candidates head to Des Moines, Iowa. The three remaining candidates will take part in the highly anticipated Jefferson-Jackson Dinner. Each candidate will also be hosting their own rally before the main event this evening.

The dinner, held at the Hy-Vee Hall located at 730 3rd St, begins at 7 p.m. Democrat candidates, Bernie Sanders, Martin O’Malley and Hillary Clinton, will be in attendance. The keynote speeches by each candidate are scheduled to begin at 8:15 p.m.

Prior to the dinner, Hillary Clinton will be hosting a pre-Jefferson-Jackson rally with live entertainment by Katy Perry at East Parking Lot, located at 611 5th Avenue downtown. President Bill Clinton will also be in attendance at the free event. Gates open at 3 p.m.

Also starting at 3 p.m., Sanders will be hosting a Jefferson-Jackson rally at the Argonne Armory Building, located at 602 Robert D. Ray Drive in downtown. That event will conclude with a march to the Hy-Vee Center.

At 3:30 p.m., candidate O’Malley will host a Meet and Greet and Concert at the Plaza of the Veterans Memorial Auditorium, located at 833 5th Ave. in Des Moines.
